REW is looking for a driven Executive Assistant to join our high performing team. This role will report directly to the CEO, delivering confidential executive administrative support.

Note: This is not a fully remote role. Work from home will be an option, when in person time is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily communications pertaining to the CEO including the maintenance of a personal calendar and all scheduled appointments.
  • Serve as a liaison for all positions reporting to the CEO.
  • Provide administrative assistance when necessary including the organization and daily maintenance of any relevant communication systems, filing, correspondence, documentation, etc.
  • Acts as a point of contact for external matters pertaining to the CEO.
  • Arrange all personnel functions and appointments; purchase orders; travel arrangements; and requisite supplies (for both the business and home office locations).
  • Organize, plan, record, and transcribe relevant employee, team, vendor and client meetings as necessary.
  • Assist the CEO in planning, implementing, and communicating any projects pertaining to the goals and mission of the company.
  • Organize all daily appointments, communications, and general work/personal life to ensure enhanced effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Occasional personal errands/tasks as required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Must haves:

  • Successful track record of administrative support responsibilities in a fast paced environment or equivalent experience as organizer, or guardian of time.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude.
  • Valid class 5 British Columbia Driver’s license & reliable personal transportation.
  • Valid passport (or the ability to get one).
  • Reside within the Nanaimo area (Ladysmith-Parksville).
